CIS Member-States

In order to create the conditions for the formation of the system of scientific and information support of programs and projects of CIS member states in the field of innovation, based on inter-state and national information infrastructures, as well as favorable economic and legal environment for its development and improvement,  the Concept of scientific and information support of programs and projects of CIS member states in the field of innovation was approved by the Decision of the CIS Economic Council on March 13, 2009, and the Agreement on the establishment of an information infrastructure of innovative activities of the CIS member states in the form of a distributed information system “Information for Innovative Activities of the CIS Member States” based on national information systems (portals) of the CIS member states  was signed on May 19, 2011 by the heads of the governments of the CIS.

The purpose of the Belarusian portal of the distributed information system “Information for Innovation Activities of the CIS Member States” is the creation of national information resources of innovative orientation, as well as the providing of information links between the subjects of innovation activities in order to accelerate the receipt of timely and reliable information, which is one of the key factors to increase efficiency of innovation activities and, ultimately, to increase the level of economic development of the CIS member states.
