Winners of social advertising contest “Intellectual Property: Create, Reinvent, Implement” decided in Minsk

VOKA CINEMA (Minsk City) hosted a solemn ceremony of summing up the results of the first social advertising contest "Intellectual Property: Create, Invent, Implement". In each category and age group, a professional international jury selected winners who were awarded diplomas and souvenirs from the organizers. The event turned out to be truly international: participants from Belarus, Russia, Slovakia, Moldova, Ukraine and Kazakhstan submitted their works to the contest. The youngest of them is 7 years old, and the oldest is 87. In total, the contest organizing committee received 253 applications in three categories, including 140 works in the text category (slogans - 65, hashtags - 39, verses - 36) , in the categories of “graphics” - 53 works and “video” - 8 works.

The best works of the winners and prize-winners of the contest will be used as social advertising in the media. This was announced at the awarding ceremony by the Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Shumilin. “Today’s competition is an international event that brought together more than 250 works by participants from 6 countries, and I believe that this event will make a significant contribution to the development of the intellectual property system, as well as help our participants improve their knowledge and contribute to their further creative growth. In turn, we plan to organize and conduct similar events in the future,” he said.

The contest was organized by the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus and the state institution “National Center for Intellectual Property” with the support of the World Intellectual Property Organization. The partners of the competition were the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, the public associations "Intellectual Property Protection Association" BelBrand" and "Association of Advertising Organizations", the unitary enterprise "A1", the joint limited liability company "Cosmos-TV", Representative Office of the Interstate Television and Radio Company "Mir" in the Republic of Belarus, educational institution "Belarusian State University", "Belarusian State Academy of Arts", Federal State Institution of Higher Education "Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property."
