This was discussed at the second meeting of the joint Belarusian-Turkish Commission on Cooperation in Science and Technology. During the meeting, parties discussed issues of cooperation between Turkish and Belarusian technoparks, as well as the Turkish Polar Research Institute with the Republican Center for Polar Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
Based on the results of the competition for joint innovative projects, held by the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus and the Council for Scientific and Technical Research of Turkey, a project for the development of an autonomous multi-robotic warehouse system was accepted for funding (the executor from the Belarusian side is the State Scientific Institution “Joint Institute for Informatics Problems of the NAS Belarus", from the Turkish side - the company "Novosim Engineering Services"). The goal of the project is to develop a new multi-robotic system designed to automatically move goods inside both designed and existing warehouses, logistics centers, taking into account the configuration of the premises. Currently, the Turkish side is considering two more innovative projects of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, which received a positive assessment of Belarusian experts.
Belarusian-Turkish cooperation in the scientific and technical sphere is carried out within the agreement between the governments of the two countries dated November 11, 2016.
