Belarusian and Chinese scientists are stepping up cooperation within the framework of joint scientific, technical and innovative projects in the field of medicine, information technology, mechanical engineering, ecology and energy conservation. This was announced today at the opening of the Belarusian-Chinese cooperation exchange "Synergy of Innovations-2021" (for the development of the Belarusian-Chinese Science and Technology Park in Changchun) by the First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Kosovsky. According to him, within the framework of the Belarusian-Chinese scientific and technical cooperation program, 20 joint scientific and technical projects in priority areas are being financed this year. In the near future, it is planned to announce the next joint project competition for 2022-2023. “We will be glad to see residents of the Belarusian-Chinese Technopark in Changchun among the participants of our competition: this is one of the opportunities to replenish the portfolio of the Technopark with joint high-tech projects,” said Andrei Kosovsky. He also noted that the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus attaches great importance to the development of innovative infrastructure, since it is in technoparks that advanced developments are introduced into production and new high-tech enterprises are created on their basis.

The Belarusian-Chinese cooperation exchange "Synergy of Innovations-2021" (for the development of the Belarusian-Chinese Science and Technology Park in Changchun) is being held in the format of a video conference at the BNTU Polytechnic Technopark. The event was organized by the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, Belarusian National Technical University, RIUP Science and Technology Park BNTU Polytechnic, People's Government of Jilin Province of the People's Republic of China, Management Council of the Belarusian-Chinese Science and Technology Park in Changchun. The main goal of the exchange is to update the joint organizational and technological platform in the technopark in Changchun for the implementation of Belarusian-Chinese high-tech projects, as well as to identify promising areas and forms of cooperation for the implementation of joint projects. The exchange will host a round table on the topic: "Interaction between business and science as a factor of growth", as well as bilateral and group meetings in the face-to-face format.
