The innovation infrastructure entities, such as technology parks and technology transfer centers, will be created not only in the regional centers of Belarus, but also in large district centers. This was announced today during a visit to the national innovation unitary enterprise "Science and Technology Park of the Polotsk State University" by Alexander Shumilin, Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus. According to him, technological parks have already been established in Pinsk and Novopolotsk. There is a work on the establishment of technological parks in Bobruisk, Borisov, Gorki and Orsha.
Three organizations became residents of the scientific and technological park of the Polotsk State University. One of them develops the production on glass-fabric basis, and the other two work in the field of information and communication technologies (mobile banking, cloud technologies and online management systems of the intelligent cottage community).
At present, the network of innovation infrastructure entities consists of 22 organizations: 12 science and technology parks and 9 technology transfer centers. The status of an innovation infrastructure entity was also awarded to the Belarusian Innovative Foundation.
