Belarus signed eight agreements in Miami

According to the results of eMerge Americas International Exhibition and Conference in the field of high technologies, Belarusian organizations and institutions of higher education signed eight agreements on scientific, technical, innovative and educational cooperation. In particular, the OJSC KBTEM-OMO concluded a number of agreements with American companies on the implementation of stepper motors and the creation of a control device for semiconductor wafers. The agreement in the field of development and joint production of medical devices was signed in Polytechnic Technological Park BNTU.  BSU, BSUIR and BNTU signed the similar agreements on student exchange and implementation of joint projects.

EMergeAmericas International Conference in the field of high technologies was held in Miami (USA) on June 12-13. The National Exposition of the Republic of Belarus was organized within the conference for the first time in the history of Belarusian-American relations. More than 80 high-tech and science-intensive developments of the Ministry of Education, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the High-Tech Park, etc. in topical thematic areas were exhibited there. The Belarusian delegation led by Alexander Shumilin, Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, actively participated in all the events of eMergeAmericas.
