The session of the Council of the National Contest of Innovative Projects held in the SCST

The defense of the pretenders to the victory in the nomination “Best Innovative Project” is held in the State Committee on Science and Technology.

Besides, today experts will determine the list of the projects rejected from the participation in the final of the contest and the rating of the projects passed the expertise.  By the way, 79 projects are sent for the further expertise, including 29 projects  in the nomination “Best Innovative Projects” and 50 projects in the nomination “Best Youth Innovative Project”.

In accordance with the areas of the expertise the biggest quantity of projects are in the field of informatization, calculating facilities and information technologies (15 projects); technologies of chemical, pharmaceutical and microbiological productions (14 projects); instrument-making, radio electronics and optics (12 projects).

The least quantity of projects are in the field of socioeconomic problems of the statehood of the Republic of Belarus (4 projects); ecology and rational use of natural resources (2 projects).

164 applications were submitted for the contest, 46 of them are in nomination “Best Innovative Project” and 118 projects are in the nomination “Best Youth Innovative Project”.

The biggest quantity of submitted applications are in the field of ecology and rational nature use and the problems of construction, energy, IT technologies, healthcare and socioeconomic problems. 73 applications were submitted by the BRYU.

The basic reason of the rejection was the absence of a business-plan of the project or its insufficient elaboration.

Also, the subject area of certain submitted projects didn’t meet the priority areas of scientific-technical activities in Belarus.

There are 85 such projects, 17 projects are in the nomination “Best Innovative Project” and 68 projects are in the nomination “Best Youth Innovative Project”.
